Hello. I am an M.D. with a Bachelor's in Psychology from UCSD. I worked as a Field Clinical Specialist in the Pacemaker/AICD (defibrillator) arena for just over 8 years. I also worked in Biomedical research laboratories for 5 years. I was a Teaching Assistant in Molecular & Cell Biology at UCSD. I was an Anatomy proctor part-time, while in Medical School. I educated and presented extensively to doctors, nurses, colleagues, and patients during my years as a pacemaker representative on clinical and technical aspects of the medical devices. I have been tutoring ever since being laid off, and am currently pursuing several career options. My favorite option is to become a full-time Associate Professor.
I do not follow one particular tutoring style. I tailor my style to each student's personality and needs. I find this approach to be the most effective. This way each student is much more satisfied, and does not feel as if he/she may as well have been sitting through another boring lecture.
