My name is Maher, and I look forward to helping you do and enjoy doing math!
I have BS in math, AS in Computer Science, and a Professional Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential in math from San Jose State University. I have taught/tutored all subjects of math and computer science for 12 years. I also have 3 years of experience in multimedia programming of educational software.
My background studies in mathematics, computer science, and the credential program will enable me to apply the needed skills to help you understand and love math. My style of teaching focuses on understanding the concepts versus just solving the math problem. I believe that helping the student understand the concept is teaching him/her how to fish and solving the problem for him/her is giving them a fish. For me, I will certainly teach you how to fish.
