I was born in a small town in south China, lived and studied in different cities such as GuangZhou, ShangHai, NanJing, and HongKong, finished high school before coming to USA at 18yr old in 1981. I went through the basic fundamental Chinese education, such as read, write, and compose, along with Chinese history, economics, politics, and there relationship, how each evolved, interacted, and influenced each other.
Hence I can write Simplified Chinese (also read Traditional Chinese), and speak Mandarin and Cantonese, also understand a few area dialects such as ShangHainese, FuJianese.
I finished college (AA Computer Information Systems Programming), and university (BA Business Administration, Finance major, dBase minor) in Bay Area, California.
As you can summarized from my brief bio above, I can provide tutor in writing Simplified Chinese, and speak Mandarin and Cantonese, relating to daily life, culture, history, or expand into computer field. Since I also live and study in USA for so many yrs, know its culture and history, I can better explain, and precisely translate word meaning, sentence use, speaking & writing grammar difference, appropriate use according to situation between Chinese and American cultures.
One of my dreams is to accept a student of Caucasian or high percentage of brown, 6-7yr old male child, from mid to up class, warm and stable family, have great interest or need to be future politician, ambassador, or manager of multi-national company, strong and steady mental and financial support from his family, can afford many yrs of Chinese language, value, culture, history, and Computer tutor. I want to see fruit of my labor, dreamed accomplishment through this child as he grows up.
