I am a licensed New York City elementary school teacher with 11 years of teaching experience. I have worked with students with multiple needs, skill sets, and personalities. I have taught in the New York City public schools for the past 11 years as an elementary school teacher. I believe in embedding concepts across the different content areas, so as to give students a more thorough understanding of an idea or skill. I also try to infuse games into teaching as much as possible. Learning can and should be fun!

Although my focus has been on grades 3, 4, and 5, I have taught children of all ages through a variety of different mentoring programs.

Phonics

I have taught phonics through a variety of different strategies and methodologies. I have received training through the Wilson Academy, a multisensory language training program that focuses on intensive phonics work.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
