I have over seven years of tutoring experience. I started in high school to fulfill my community service requirements at elementary schools. I tutored there in the Resource Program (RSP) which is a program to help young students that have learning difficulties. Also, during the Fall quarter of my second year at University of California Davis, I tutored as an internship for Chicano Studies. These students were similar and faced learning disabilities as well. My experience with these students helped me develop strong tutoring skills and build a connection with my students. I also tutored college level students in Biology, as well as some Math and English. This gave me more experience working with excelling students to broaden my tutoring abilities. Now that I have my Bachelors of Science in Cell Biology, I am working to go even further to meet my education goals as well as the students that I will tutor.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
