I am a veteran EFL instructor with ten years experience in private practice as well as twenty years experience teaching at Berlitz Languages, Inc. where I received my first pedagogical training. Later, I received an RSA to teach EFL from the St. Giles School in San Francisco. I am an effective, award-winning teacher (Teacher of the Year 1991, Western Region) and teachers’ instructor, as well as a developer and administrator of English proficiency over-the-telephone tests.
My clientele has comprised innovators in medicine, researchers in the electronics and green technology fields, and has included VPs of R and D for high tech firms, visiting scholars at Stanford University and heads of corporate departments, as well as technicians, students and homemakers.
