Hello, I am Shruti! I hold a Masters degree in French Literature from San Jose State University and a Masters degree in French Technical Translation from University of Pune, India.
I currently work as a substitute teacher for French at the Harker School and as a French content writer for an e-learning company.
I taught Elementary and Intermediate French at Alliance Française de Pune and various other institutions in India. I worked as a Teaching Assistant for French at San Jose State University for 3 semesters. In this capacity, I developed lesson plans, revision tests, mid-term and final examinations, and used online videos, songs, poems in the classroom to make every session interactive and meet diverse interests of the students as well as demonstrate direct connections between the classroom and everyday life.
I have tutored Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced level French at middle school,high school and undergraduate level.
I am a sincere, patient,motivated person and a good listener. I love helping students with day-to-day conversations, pronunciations, grammar, vocabulary and tests. Each tutoring session is tailored and adjusted to meet students' individual needs and to foster independent learning.
