You love to sing? I love to sing, too. But, I also love to teach singing. My vocal coaching method is called Singing From The Inside Out. I believe in helping my students reach their highest vocal potentials. I teach my students the philosophy of singing to be felt, not just to be heard using what I call your Essential Voice.
I have been a working, professional vocalist in the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly 30 years. In my career, I have recorded with Chicago lead vocalist Bill Champlain, Hiroshima, sung with Sheena Easton, worked alongside multi-Grammy winner-producer Narada Michael Walden; I've shared the stage with Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett, Dionne Warwick, The Commmodores and I'm a 2-time winner from the classic Star Search TV show--the forerunner of shows like American Idol and The Voice. One of my former singing partners is Peggy Blu--"the vocal coach from hell" on The Voice. I've also recorded commercial jingles for Chevrolet, Manwich, Delta Dental and many others. I've performed for audiences in Japan, South America and Canada.
In addition, I have studied voice with Seth Riggs associate vocal coaches Roger Burnley, Chip Hand and Roger Corff. I can teach you how to sing well on the stage and in the recording studio. I can also give you sound advice on how to keep your voice healthy and strong through the years.
