Drawing

Have taken adult education in specific art media for the past 15 years. My teacher is a college professor in photography and has taught art for over 30 years. He has taught Adult ed classes for the past 30 years, in all medium: oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, colored pencils, photography, pastels.

I am an artist and create gourds and do pet portraits now. I have had booths at various street fairs and also the San Jose Harvest Festival to sell my art work.

Elementary (K-6th)

Assisted and taught at a Montessori Creative and Performing Arts Academy in grades 2-4.

Elementary Math

I taught the basic subjects (Math, Reading, Social Studies, Science, etc..) in the home room of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades.

The method I use is finding the easiest and best way to present the subject. Learning should be fun with a lot of praise.

Painting

I have painted for the past 15 years and have sold pieces. My favorite forms are acrylic and pencil.

I do pet portraits and have sold quite a few. I carve and paint gourds also. I've sold them to people and also given them as gifts. They are painted with acrylics.

When I was teaching in Montessori school, I did a lot of art work, painting, etc... with my classes.

Photography

I do photography for my art. It encompasses subject matters, composition, color, design, etc..
I use a Nikon D50.

I've done photography of dogs, cats, and small animals for the local animal shelter for their website. I have also taught classes to new volunteers on how to photograph animals.

I also upload my photos to my computer and work with them in Microsoft Office Picture Manager and print hard copies of them.

Reading

I have taught Montessori school (elementary grades) and enjoy helping students grow in confidence and ability. Reading is a powerful tool they will need their entire life. I enjoy helping children discover the world through reading.

Study Skills

While teaching at the Montessori school, the children are taught study skills and these are practiced in the classroom.

In addition to using and teaching study skills in the classrooms, I have raised 3 children with these skills.

If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
