I enjoy working with children and love being able to help those in need of a tutor. As a pre-medical student, I understand the need for tutors in helping students to excel in their classes. As a former 2nd-grade teacher for an after school program, I helped my students with their homework and made sure each of them arrived at the correct answer with my guidance and support. I advanced their knowledge in various subjects such as English, Math, Reading Comprehension, and Writing. In addition, I held a California Standards Test (STAR test) class every week for my students to assure they did their best on the exam. I taught my students testing methods and made sure to go over each wrong problem they answered.
I specialize in math, English, and science and enjoy helping students from grades K-12 do better in their homework. I strive to help my students do their best in school, focus on their studies, and teach them the value of hard-work and responsibility. By dedicating 100% of my time and abilities to helping my students succeed, I hope to have my students dedicate 100% of themselves in learning and being responsible for their grades.
I always try to do my best as a teacher and tutor. I communicate effectively to all my students as well as their parents. By providing each other with feedback, I can assure success for their child!
I am very understanding with time schedules and will work around the student's schedule. I do, however, have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
Since I am currently studying independently for my Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), I am always at the library and am available to meet with my clients there. I enjoy being in a quiet, studious environment and feel the library is the best place to study. However, I am flexible on where to meet with my students such as their house.
I look forward to hearing from you and can't wait to begin our studious journey together!
