Hi, thank you for visiting my profile!
I am a patient, dedicated, and successful teacher and tutor with over 10 years' experience teaching in both the US and abroad.
The greatest influences in my life to help me realize the value of education were my parents and Teach for America. Both have taught me two fundamental principles: first, that education brings opportunity, and secondly, that all students have the ability to achieve. My goal is to help each of my students improve their grades and skills and gain confidence in their abilities.
My students are of all ages and backgrounds, with varied abilities. I have worked with elementary school students who struggle with learning disabilities, ESL students who have just arrived to the country, and high school honors students who seek to attend a top 10 university in the US. Parents have consistently expressed satisfaction and happiness with their children's achievement while working with me, as well as a sense of security in knowing that their children are in good hands.
Below is a bit about my education and teaching experience:

Double major in Sociology and American Studies; minor in Journalism
Strengths of major: Critical reading and essay writing
