I hold degrees from Harvard University (A.B.) and Stanford University (M.A.). I was employed as an undergraduate instructor at Stanford University.
I have special education experience from early education through secondary school levels, and have tutored extensively in New York, the San Francisco Bay area. My personal research focus has been literature and philosophy in German, English and Classical Ancient Greek (in translation). My research ranged from classical pagan heroic epic (Sumerian, Homeric), to Greek Stoic philosophy in the Roman Empire; medieval European Romance; the Elizabethan era of English Renaissance drama, the 18th century German Bildungsroman and Philosophical Idealism of freedom, agency, and ethical aspects of aesthetics; to English Modernism and philosophy of Wittgenstein in the 20th century.

My personal experience has given me an uncommon balance of skills in both logic and analytic thinking (left brain) and intuition and creative thinking (right brain). My academic credentials are in the humanities, and my scholarly expertise is language, literature, and history. My quantitative skills are equally expert from both undergraduate coursework (general chemistry, multi-variate calculus, etc), and work experience in corporate research and financial statement analysis.
