I offer college counseling services to meet the needs of a variety of students.I work one-on-one with students to create a balanced list of "best-fit" Safety, Match, and Reach colleges, essay brainstorming and editing, resume development, and application assistance. I work with all types of students, including with student-athletes, LD Students, and First-Generation Students.
I am a College Mentor at Mission Graduates' College-Connect, a non-profit organization that provides college counseling and mentoring to first-generation, underserved high school students in San Francisco's Mission District. As a College Mentor, I work with students on essays, personal statements, and guide them in creating their college lists. I also teach them how to research and learn more about colleges.
I have specialized certificate in College Counseling from the University of California, Irvine, and am a member of the Western Association of College Admissions Counselors (WACAC). I regularly attend conferences and speaking engagements on all aspects of college admissions. I enjoy visiting and touring college campuses to keep current on college admissions practices.
