I am a 24 year old talented and thoughtful tutor on his way to a career in medicine looking to help all ages, from 5th graders through college and beyond, develop tools for mastering math and science courses. A native San Franciscan, I graduated from Cathedral School for Boys in 2003 and St. Ignatius College Preparatory in 2007. I studied Chemistry at Carleton College, graduating magna cum laude in 2011. I recently sat the MCAT, earning a score in the 90th percentile.
I have a long history of helping both fellow and younger students in math and the sciences. In high school, I was president of the Physics Club, a student organization devoted to tutoring fellow high school students in physics. In college, I tutored other students in organic chemistry. Once out of college, I tutored for an academic support and mentoring center, Classroom Matters, which earned the Parents Press "Best of the East Bay" accolades in both 2011 and 2012.
I am available to tutor the following courses: Math: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Geometry. Science: Biology, Chemistry, Physics. I am also available to tutor the AP versions of Calculus, Chemistry and Physics.
