We all have interests that we don’t know as much about as we would like to. Because you have gone out of your way to seek help in learning something, that means to me that you have already proven you really can learn it. I tutored for 2 years while I was in college for English, Photoshop, Maya and basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office. I am patient, friendly, and committed to doing all I can to assist you. I will go at your pace, but I will push to go forward.
My major was in 3D animation, I have worked as a 3D modeler as a contractor, and most recently for a small company that designs environments for flight simulators. I have always had a very firm grasp on and interest in grammar and vocabulary in English. I have tutored people in the past for English class, writing essays and have done proofreading for many students, even philanthropically in my own classes. I am up to date on the versions of the softwares listed, but can teach older versions as well, since often there is little difference that matters to what you want to be able to do.
I am patient with software tutoring especially, and can introduce you to them for the first time if necessary. The reason I don't list other Adobe applications besides Photoshop is because although I am familiar with them, they are far less relevant to my personal/professional uses and I don't find them satisfying to teach. Other people are experts at Illustrator and InDesign, so they can help you with those.
I can also tutor in drawing. What I mean by this is freehand pencil and paper. I don't tutor perspective precision drawing, nor do I tutor the use of a tablet, this is something I think you can only use properly after you have some skills with a pencil. If you already have an interest in drawing, I can help you develop it further by helping you practice from reference. I can teach you how to look more closely and to make the shapes you put down on paper more accurate. I also can help you improve your depictions of anatomy, if that's what you're struggling with.
If you have any questions, I am happy to respond within 24 hours, probably less. If I happen not to be quite the right fit to help you with what you want to learn better, I will do what I can to point you in the right direction.
