I am currently a Masters candidate in English at the University of Rochester. As an undergraduate at the same university, I double majored in Film Studies and English with a concentration in creative writing. Additionally, having overloaded in the humanities each semester, I met all the requirements for a Literature concentration. I also clustered in Brain and Cognitive Science and Japanese History. I am currently living in the Bay Area as a freelance lighting technician, copy editor, proof-reader, tutor and writer. I have extensive experience in video production, having worked on a number of network television shows in New York City, Los Angeles, Detroit, and San Francisco, including Top Chef, Celebrity Apprentice, and Design Star, as well as independent films, commercials, and corporate videos. I have experience writing in critical studies, rhetoric, psychoanalytic theory, post-colonialism, cosmopolitanism, film history, and archival work. I specialize in film and creative writing, but am well versed in literature, the elements of writing structure, organizational skills, critical analysis and literary theory. I currently edit and provide feedback on Master's Theses, PhD dissertations, and any sort of term paper. I have more experience working with graduate and undergraduate students, but have also provided my services to elementary, middle, and high school students.
