Teaching/tutoring and mentoring has been part of my extra curricular activities throughout my lifetime. Resourceful, results-oriented, yet patient, I engage positively all students (from elementary to college level), from gifted ones to those with learning difference abilities, and enable them to secure strong foundations. I am a firm believer that each learner can achieve better academically and reach their goals with adequate mentoring and personalized coaching. Confidence building with diagrams or pictorial tools, initiation to and fixation of important concepts as well as practice of problem solving skills are some important points of my teaching philosophy.
My credentials include interdisciplinary PhD in Computer Sciences / BioInformatics, Masters in Applied Mathematics, BS in Mathematics. The subjects covered are all Mathematics from Pre-Algebra to Calculus. Subjects like Linear Algebra, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics and Probability are also provided to those interested. I have always been successful in delivering to the expectation of my students. I am presently tutoring Discrete Mathematics to Berkeley University students, Algebra and Calculus to High School students.
