Hello students, I'm Howie and look forward to working with you. I live in San Francisco and have taught English in many parts of the world. I also teach Spanish, which I became fluent in as a Peace Corps Volunteer in South America.

I tutor speaking, reading and writing in both languages depending on your needs. A great way to learn is to constantly practice; as one mentor of mine said, "practice makes permanent." Therefore, we will continually practice together until you are happy.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
