Hello! I am Danielle -- a current MA candidate in Comparative Literature at SFSU. I love working with others, especially when it comes to language and literacy.
As a Latin tutor, I can help you through any difficulties and allow the language to come alive. I have had eight years of college level Latin -- four years during my undergraduate degree, and four years at the graduate level. Grammar, syntax, and translation pedagogy is my primary interest. In addition, I have extensive experience reading, translating, and preparing research on many Roman authors -- Tacitus, Cicero, Virgil, Ovid, Seneca, Horace, Propertius, Sallust, Caesar, and Catullus -- to name a few!
As an English Composition tutor, I have had extensive experience working with undergraduate students -- both native and non-native speakers. I can help with grammar, thesis building, reading strategies, research methods, and revising academic work across the disciplines.
I believe that education, as well as tutoring, should be affordable for everyone. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you think we might be a good fit!
