Teaching was my first choice as career before I gave it up when there was a shortage of teaching jobs. I averaged 90th percentile on the MCAT before I gave that up for lack of money. I've taught Basic Life Support (CPR) for the Red Cross, was formerly certified as an EMT, and worked as a fire fighter and tanker crewman for the USFS. In 1987 I joined Nuremberg Actions where I was anchor person for the Concord campaign until 2009 and still act as a Legal Witness in civil disobedience situations. Currently I cook, deliver and serve with 'Food not Bombs' at People's Park on Wednesdays, and am a DJ (Tuesdays at noon) on 104.1FM.
