My daughter was going to take a high school math placement test and her school algebra class had not advanced as far as we would like. I hired Lauren to help her get ready for the test. Lauren can always find an easy way to explain and help me to pronounce the difficult words. She is very patient and professional.

I picked up a training material from my work which has a lot of longer sentences and common words and phrases related to my work. I read the whole material and she was only listening and taking notes. Once I completed reading, she pointed out the words that I didn’t pronounce correctly and helped me practiced these words in the sentences. Then we also practiced stressing important words in the longer sentences and thought groups which make me sound more like a native speaker. At end, she read and I recorded her reading so I can listen and practice by my own.

This way of working worked very well with my needs and objectives, I can apply the learning to my work right away.

This is my last lesson this year due to the Holiday schedule; I cannot wait to work with Lauren after the New Year!

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
