Music:
I have over 30 years of vocal performance experience in various genres, mainly folk, bluegrass, blues, jazz and swing. I have orchestral, choir and musical theater experience through school and college, and I have worked both solo and in bands, both touring and non-touring. I am currently involved in several working band projects (websites below). I play guitar, upright (string) bass, fiddle, piano and am an experienced arranger. I am interested in performance and vocal coaching, particularly for beginners who have a dream! I am also available for beginner guitar and upright bass tutoring.
Physics:
I have a Master of Engineering degree in architectural engineering, and have spent 20 plus years designing and managing the construction of buildings around the world. I am currently a professor in the Architecture program at California College of The Arts, teaching physics and structures. I teach physics with an emphasis on those subjects that impact the built environment.
