I'm very friendly and understanding, and I take responsibilities with a fun attitude as well as dedication to excellence. My strongest subjects reside in the humanities: English, creative writing, literature, world/American/East Asian/European history.
I would love to help you fulfill your potential!
In Spring 2012 I graduated cum laude on the Chancellor’s List from Chapman University with a BFA in creative writing. During my two years there I presented at the regional and national Sigma Tau Delta English honors society and Honors Program conferences for my creative writing and acted as a category editor in poetry and scriptwriting for the school Honors Journal. Since then I have also been a freelance script coverage writer for The Happy Writers.
In 2007 the CAPPIES (a national critics and awards high school theatre program) performed in New York an original comedic scene I wrote, and in that year I was accepted into the Orange County Playwrights’ Alliance. I have recently begun looking into writing contests and publication; my work is featured in print in Palooka Literary Journal, The Daily Satire anthology, the Montreal Review of Books, the Philadelphia Review of Books, Passages North, as well as the Kung Fu Action Theatre podcast. In 2011 I was Chapman University’s Creative Writing Program nominee for Association of Writers Journal in the fiction category and for the New York State Summer Writers Institute Scholarship.
