I have been tutoring for over 4 years, and have thoroughly enjoyed guiding my students to feel proud of their accomplishments. I have an extensive background in English and writing, along with other subjects, that helps me create a nurturing, productive environment in which students can learn and flourish.
My goal is to help students of all ages obtain mastery of specific concepts in the fields of English, writing, social sciences, and history, while also increasing their level of success by working on study techniques and time management.
My tutoring methods include encouragement and praise combined with structure and hard work.
Because I just graduated with my masters earlier this summer, I still know what it's like to be a student, and I remember the pressures that can come with pursuing goals in the academic world. This knowledge helps me to work with the students in a more connected way. I know the pressures, but I also know how great it feels to accomplish your educational ambitions.
