I have been a teacher of history for over 25 years. My specialty is American History. I have developed a creative curriculum where students can interact with activities that bring history to life with creative methodologies.
In addition to my secular teaching experience, I also taught Bible studies in both Hebrew School and Born-Again Churches back East. When teaching Bible I look for themes that apply to our everyday lives. Example: Lot's Wife turning into a Pilar of Salt. True Meaning -Obedience to G-D The Father.

For five years running I taught and developed a specialized course of study for exhange students from Kyoto, Japan who came to Encinitas, CA for an intensive three week learning and travel program.
I began studying French in high school and took an advanced placement course in my senior year. I have been a French teacher since my graduation from college and have studied in France, French Canada, and the Carribean. As a teacher with over 35 years of experience I had to teach my students how to study no matter what the subject matter was. I showed them how to organize their study area, how to look for the main theme when studying English and History, how to outline, how to make flash cards with vocabulary words for English, Spanish, and French, and how to pretend that they were a classroom teacher teaching an imaginary class the same subject that they were studying and trying to learn. I believe studying outload in a quiet environment is more beneficial for focusing on the material at hand and absorbing the material more quickly.
