After finishing a PhD in biomedical engineering at UCI, I worked as a research fellow for the Singapore Eye Research Institute. Then, from 2010 through 2012 I was an assistant professor in a stem cell biology laboratory at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. Currently, I'm in career transition once more. I enjoy learning about regions across the world. My dream is to work in science diplomacy for the US Department of State. I've taught English and my subject of research. I also do contract work editing scientific papers. While tutoring is relatively new to me, I look forward to working with students to find learning methods that work best for them individually.
