I am a retired high school math teacher, currently a Part-Time Mathematics Instructor for an adult apprenticeship program. I can tutor all levels of mathematics, including college prep math for physics. I also provide a time management plan.
I am a retired naval reserve officer. I came up through the ranks, first serving in the United States Air Forces for six years active duty. I returned to college obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree. During my college time, I remained in the Naval Reserves. After finishing college, I went through Officer Candidate School, obtained a commission and remained on active duty for another eight years. I then completed three years in the naval reserves and retired. I went through a teacher certification program, obtained my teaching credential in math with a supplemental in physics, and taught all levels of high school mathematics for over fourteen years before retiring. During my teacher education program, I served as a substitute teacher for approximately two years. All of my jobs have been of a technical nature. Each job I have had, from troubleshooting electronic equipment / systems to piloting ships at sea have involved some form of mathematics and science. I am prepared to transfer my mathematics knowledge and prepare students in mathematics or AVASB preparation.
