My name is Jessica, and I am a recent graduate (Magna Cum Laude) with a bachelor of Arts in Languages, Literature, and Culture with a concentration in Spanish. I have been taking Spanish classes for close to 10 years, and am well versed in the language. I have experience as a teacher's aide tutoring high school students in Spanish, and am aware of the challenges that exist for students learning the language for the first time.
I am a very patient person and will work with students at a pace that is conducive to their learning style. Due to the fact that I just graduated, it is easy for me to relate to students learning the language, and have many study methods that have helped me that I will pass on.
I am looking to tutor students in the beginning/intermediate levels of Spanish, but also believe I can be a big help to those who are looking to learn English and need help in translation. I have taken classes in Business Spanish, as well as have taken many classes in Literature and Culture, so anyone needing help with those specific subjects will find me to be a great resource.
Additionally, aside from academics, I am especially great with children. I have worked as a kid's counselor every summer for about 4 years, and grew up helping out at a neighborhood daycare. I know how to patiently and effectively work with all personalities, and I am very people-oriented in nature.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
