I just completed my master's degree in speech language pathology from Texas Christian University. I will be completing my Clinical Fellowship in a school setting in San Diego for the next nine months before becoming a fully certified speech language pathologist.
As part of my graduate training, I completed internships in elementary schools, hospital settings and the university clinic. I have worked with students from pre-school through middle school and adults to accomplish various speech, language, and cognition goals. I also have an undergraduate degree in linguistics and psychology from UCLA, a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from International House, London, and many years of volunteer English as a Second Language tutoring experience.
I love working with all ages on anything related to languages and linguistics. I also studied German (spending a semester in Hannover, Germany) Swedish (with a summer in Uppsala, Sweden) and Spanish, and could tutor those subjects at the introductory level.
