With a Pd.D in physics, I have taught physics and astronomy for about 10 years at various universities and colleges in the US and abroad. I have also tutored students that have had problems with traditional physics and mathematics courses regularly bringing the student from a failing grade to passing with an A. My greatest success was the student who required an entire semester of physics to be taught within two weeks of the final examination, that later passed with the equivalent of an A.

I am a firm believer that every person is capable of understanding physics and mathematics and all they need is the right teacher. I have adapted my teaching methods to suit a variety of students as everyone learns in different ways.

Although my degrees are in physics (Ph.D. from UCLA, BS from Oregon State Univ.), I do have a minor in mathematics and have worked as a lecturer at a tutorial college in Sydney Australia teaching Mathematics.

Astronomy

Taught astronomy at the University of New South Wales and Moorpark Community College as well as supervised graduate and undergraduate students.
