Hello Everyone! I finished my undergraduate education in May 2011, graduating from Cornell University after three years of study. Seeking to gain educational experience, during my last year at Cornell Jeffrey I worked as a tutor in English and Physics to Cornell athletes, thereby displaying an incredible breath of expertise and versatility as a tutor.

After three winters in Ithaca, I returned to San Diego, where I now work in the IT department of San Diego Gas & Electric. I have continued to work as a tutor, and have amassed over three years of experience in tutoring diverse areas such as ACT test prep, SAT test prep, AP science, AP Math, AP History, AP English, and others.

I attended high school at Rancho Bernardo High School, and am, therefore, well acquainted with the pressures faced by many college-bound high school students, especially those who participate in many extra-curricular activities. While in high school, I participated in Band, Academic League, Science Olympiad, and Boy Scouts while still getting a 2380 on the SAT and fifteen "5s" on AP tests.

Not very many years ago I was taking the same high-level classes today's high school students are taking. Not only am I a master of the material, I am familiar with how it is presented in today's high schools and how today's high school students react to it. Whether it is AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, AP European or AP English, or any other challenging course, I am the ideal tutor for your student.

Algebra 1

Algebra is difficult for many first time students, but it is essential to succeeding in higher levels of math. If your student needs assistance understanding algebra, contact me! I excelled in Honors Algebra 3/4 at Rancho Bernardo High School and continued to hone my algebra skills throughout successive levels of math. The fundamental skills students learn in algebra will be useful and required for their entire math careers, so it is paramount to build a strong foundation!

I received a 5 on both his AP Calculus AB and BC exams in high school. In college at Cornell I continued to excel in calculus, taking Linear Algebra and Multivariable calculus. I excelled in my year of AP Chemistry at Rancho Bernardo High School and received a "5" on the AP Chemistry exam. At Cornell I continued to pursue this subject by taking multiple honors chemistry courses. AP Chem is a difficult but rewarding course, and one I immensely enjoy tutoring. Vocabulary

I am the perfect tutor to help students work on their vocabulary. I have cultivated an extensive vocabulary over many years of voracious reading. I have worked as an SAT tutor for three. During this time I helped many students master difficult vocabulary words so they could succeed on the SAT.
