I have an extreme love for teaching and have had a successful three years of experience in an elementary setting. I taught 3rd grade for two years in Dillon, MT along with 6th grade in Ramsay Montana. During these years I had approximately 20 students and was in charge of creating and developing grade appropriate lessons to enrich and engage each and every student. It is my belief students learn from a variety of methods and as a teacher I incorporated multiple hands on activities along with many other teaching techniques to ensure the success of every student. Every individual has a different learning style and as a teacher or a tutor, one needs to consider these methods. During the three years of professional teaching experience, I offered tutoring to students who needed a little extra help in reading and math. One on one time I believe always boosts an individual's self esteem and understanding of the material.
