Created from the Cosmic Legends of the Universe, this Didaskalos, or teacher, will train the young hero to think clearly and correctly, speak persuasively, and consort well with Men of Rank, just as the Centaur Cheiron taught Achilles. He has recited Homer, Vergil, Ovid, etc. in 32 states, and directed two tragedies and a comedy, all in the original Latin and Greek. He is recognized an an authority on the correct pronunciation of Ancient Greek and Latin, and is working hard with national classics groups to revive the public's interest in classical entertainment. More practically, he has done graduate work in Greek and Latin, recorded 7 CD's, and done various editing projects, including helping with the editing of the Greek, Latin, and Hebrew in Rev. Cotton Mather's 4,500 page manuscript magnum opus, the BIBLIA AMERICANA, left unpublished at his death in 1728. While getting his 2nd B.A. at SDSU, he worked in the SDSU Math Department's drop-in tutoring room, explaining the math he learned at UCSD (B.A.) to all comers, at all levels, with all backgrounds, and with all different communication styles. Signing up with him is a chance to come in contact with the Western Tradition in all its glory.
