I currently go to Cal State San Marcos and am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Spanish with plans to be a high school Spanish teacher after graduating and receiving a teaching credential. In my Spanish classes, I have an A- average. The combination of my grades and my completion of multiple college upper division classes makes me qualified to teach most levels, even the more advanced levels. I enjoy tutoring because making a difference in the lives of students and helping them improve is highly fulfilling.
I make tutoring simple. Often it seems like ordinary classroom teachers make Spanish more complicated than it needs to be. The reality is that Spanish is full of similarities to English and has many simple and straightforward rules. Although some aspects of Spanish grammar can be complicated, my focus is to do the best I can by finding the most clear and straightforward methods of teaching it.
I hold myself to extremely high standards and tutoring is no exception. I am confident that you will be satisfied tutoring with me and that you will have a great experience. I look forward to meeting with you!
