I am currently a graduate student at San Diego State University, expected to receive my master's degree in higher educational leadership in 2015. I, also, am a part-time employee at UC San Diego.
I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in communication. I received minors in both Spanish and linguistics. I have my TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification, and taught English for a month in Barcelona, Spain. I am available to tutor in elementary/middle school math, as well as geometry, algebra I, and precalculus. I took AP calculus in high school and a year of linear algebra in college. For my linguistics minor in college, I took many English grammar courses, as well as interned for the editor of a magazine. I have a good eye for proofreading, and can help improve writing skills.
I took a year off between my undergraduate work and graduate school, and was a substitute teacher for K-12 students during that time.
