I am a registered civil engineer. I currently work as a contract civil engineer from home so that I have the flexibility to be home full time with my baby boy. I was a math and physics tutor at UCLA, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics. After UCLA, I married my husband and moved to Sweden (his home country), where I went to graduate school and received my Master's in Water Resources Engineering.

I have a true passion for all types of math and physics, and can tutor up to the university level.

I am fluent in Spanish and Swedish. I lived in Spain for one year, and Sweden for 3 years. I grew up speaking Spanish part-time at home, and now I speak Spanish at home full time with my son.

Physics

I have taken a total of four college and university level physics courses. The courses included statics, mechanics (Motion, Newtons laws, work, energy, linear and angular momentum, rotation, equilibrium, gravitation), and oscillations, waves, electric and magnetism. I was also a physics tutor for students while I was an undergraduate at UCLA.

Differential Equations

As an Applied Mathematics major at UCLA, I completed three differential equations courses, including standard differential equations and partial differential equations. I also completed a differential equations course in Junior College as a prerequisite, before transferring to UCLA.

Volleyball

I have played volleyball for 22 years. I was a captain and setter for both my high school and college teams.

AutoCAD

I have worked with AutoCAD for civil engineering design since 1999.

I completed two courses in Linear Algebra as an Applied Mathematics major at UCLA.
