I am a recently retired Math Instructor from New York City. I specialized in developmental mathematics, nursing math, and elementary statistics. Also, I was an adjunct business instructor focusing on economics. My formal career in education started as a tutor at San Diego City College, 1990-94. Soon after, I became a Math Peace Corps Volunteer in Central African Republic. My Peace Corps experience was the greatest personal achievement of my life; It made me a development worker for life. Upon returning to the United States, I became a Peace Corps Fellows and taught in the New York City Public School for two years and acquire M.A. in Mathematical Education and a MED in International Educational Development with an emphasis on Peace Education. I have demonstrated ability in fostering learning environments in variety of tutorial settings: one on one; small groups; and large groups.
