Dear Parent,

I am a special education teacher for students with learning disabilities, mild autism, ADD/ADHD, and speech and language impairments. I have been working with students in the special education field for 25 years now.

I love to tutor, because the one-to-one interaction gives the child a greater chance for learning and a sense of self-confidence. My specialty is in modifying lessons in all core subject areas to meet the individual needs of each child. I am confident in tutoring all subjects from kindergarten through 6th grade. I am very patient and caring.

I am available to tutor in your home or in a public library. I will travel 15 miles from my home in Mission Valley (92108). If we meet outside of that area, I will charge for one-way extra driving time. If you must cancel a session, please inform me by phone, text, or email at least 10 hours before the scheduled session. I look forward to teaming up with you to help your child succeed!

CBEST

I have knowledge of all subject areas for taking the CBEST exam. I had to take it myself in order to teach!

Dyslexia

I hold a Master's Degree in Reading Education. Many of my students have dyslexia and/or reading disabilities.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
