Hello there! I am a fairly recent college graduate with a B.A. in History. I have completed all the coursework for my multiple subject teaching credential and did my student teaching at a middle school in the Palm Springs Unified School District. I am now awaiting test results to finalize my credentials.
I come with up-to-date teaching methods to keep your child on track with the California Content Standards, a great passion for teaching, patience for the squirmy ones, and ability to motivate advanced and struggling learners. Every individual has his or her own learning style. Some are visual learners, others are verbal, musical, kinesthetic, logical, etc. Whatever your child's learning style is, I am willing to work with him or her and differentiate instruction in order to maximize the learning experience. I have experience tutoring early elementary Math and Reading, and 6th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies.
