I am a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese. I am experienced in teaching Mandarin Chinese to children, teens and adults. I have taught Mandarin Chinese to beginners to advanced levels, even business Chinese. I grew up in the country that speak these languages. I am fluent and proficient in English. I am experienced in teaching ESL English to teens and adults. I have been told by my students that I am very patient and precise in tapering my teaching to their individual educational needs. I earned a M.A. in Counseling and B.A. in Communications from accredited U.S. universities. I have worked as a U.S. college counselor, taught personal growth and career planning courses in U.S. colleges as well as high schools. I also have taught ESL (English as Second Language) to foreign speakers and new immigrants and Chinese cultural class in Adult school. I am currently working as an ESL tutor. I have worked with U.S. elementary school children helping them with their homework and experienced as a translator/interpreter in Mandarin Chinese for years.
