Does your child need help with math and science class? If so, I can help. My name is Adrian and I hold both a B.A. in chemistry from Dartmouth College and a Masters in physical organic chemistry from The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI). My years of instruction and practical experience in chemistry labs have equipped me well to explain essential chemistry concepts to a young audience. In 2005 I was awarded the Best Teaching Assistant award for organic chemistry class. At TSRI I also served as a Teaching Assistant. In addition to my background in chemistry, I am very well-versed in basic math, geometry, algebra, SAT and ACT math, and calculus.
Over the course of my career I have worked in academic, industrial, and government laboratories, and by tutoring I hope to share the knowledge gained from that time with motivated students at all different levels. Whether you are an aspiring scientist, or simply struggling to pass a prerequisite chemistry class, my tutoring techniques will help you.
I am also open to tutoring my second language, French, in which I have achieved a high level of fluency through coursework in both high school and college. In 1998 I was awarded a medal for my fluency by the Alliance Francaise.
