A brief overview of my experience involves where I began my creative inquiry, the Columbus College of Art & Design. In 2007, I was afforded the opportunity upon scholarship to attend The Columbus College of Art & Design, as the institution is a Private Liberal Arts School (founded in 1989), and is one of the oldest operating art schools in the United States. Prior to an early graduation and preparation for my Solo Thesis Exhibition, "Remains To Be Seen", I published two artworks in Botticelli, CCAD's Bi Annual Literary Art Journal, and read two literary works for the official launch of the publication in December, 2011.
I am meticulously educated and specialize in many areas in the Visual Arts. I am currently available for direction in Oil Painting, Watercolor, and Drawing (foundational, intermediate, and experienced). All of these practices are carried through carefully selecting materials and establishing a ground. For example: stretching canvas for oil painting, stretching paper for watercolor and prepping paper for charcoal technique, et cetera. We will establish what kind of process works for you and then build to strengthen those characteristics.
I possess a breadth of experience among applying for opportunities in several artistic fields. I will help you develop an Artist Statement, Thesis Paper, Curriculum Vitae/Resume, Website, and a portfolio, if you feel inclined to apply for arts exhibitions, contests or literary competitions. It would be an honor to have the opportunity to help you establish a distinct, challenging and inclusive learning experience for your creative goals.
