My name is Jonathon and I have been working with the San Diego Unified School District for almost two years and I have worked closely with students in that time who were struggling with all sorts of subjects. Whatever the subject they were working with I always made a point to keep positive and never give up until I ensure the student understands what they are doing and what strategies they can use in the future when they get stuck. I am a very detail oriented person so I can get to know a student quickly because I have worked with a wide array of students, including those with diagnosed learning and/or behavioral disabilities. I know that each student comes into a learning environment with their own unique set of circumstances, experiences and learning backgrounds and it is my wish to respect that by being infinitely patient and welcoming rather than focusing on what they are doing "wrong." As mentioned before I am available for tutoring in several subjects along with help with testing/studying techniques and proofreading/constructive feedback.
