Elementary (K-6th)

I have elementary certification in CA and NY K-6. I have taught on the elementary level for over 20 years.

Phonics

I have elementary certification with specialization in reading and phonics. Have taught K-12 for the past 20 years with great results. Also specialize in phonics with special needs kids, ADD, ADHD, autistic, Aspergers, etc.

Study Skills

I tutored study skills through Club Z for 6 years and Sylvan for 3 years. It is rewarding seeing the students take ownership of their success through better study habits, organization and assessment.

Special Needs

I adopted 2 children with special needs and they are now successful at 21 and 22 years of age. I have been the Special Ed coordinator for Charter HS in Escondido. Also was a Home/Hospital teacher for 10 years working with children with special needs where I was chosen Teacher of the Year.

ESL/ESOL

I have taught ESL/ESOL for over 15 years for the Rochester City School District and for the Escondido School District. Also teach English to foreign language learners through EF on Alliant Campus. I also tutor students in English grades k-12.

Botany

I have taught floral arranging and landscape Architecture. I am also an avid gardener with a green thumb.

Business

I just graduated with an MBA with a GPA of 3.79. I feel very confident to teach any business course. I also have a Master's degree in Education.

Public Speaking

Public speaking is one of our biggest fears and I have been trained to make it easier. Through classes and workshops as well as Toastmasters, my students excel and before they know it, they can present in front of large and small groups with great success.

Cooking

I am an excellent cook. I have taught cooking classes/Home Economics at The Rochester City School District.

College Counseling

I have been a college counselor assisting students with entrance exam preparation, financial aid, and career development.
Also I have helped numerous students with writing of their college/university entrance essays.

ADD/ADHD

I have taught students diagnosed ADD/ADHD through Rochester City School District and Escondido School District with excellent results. I was Special ED Coordinator at both districts. I also adopted two special needs kids.

Aspergers

I was the special Ed teacher and director of a local charter school. I have worked with children with Aspergers as well as other disabilities with great success.

Autism

I have taught students with Autism K-12 with great success. I was the Special Ed. Coordinator for Charter HS in Escondido. Also I adopted children with Special Needs.

Dyslexia

I have taught 100's of students with "Dyslexia" in NY and CA with great success. 95% graduated and went on to community colleges.

Social Studies

Have taught social studies at k-12 level for 15 years.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
