Hi,
I have taught at four year and two year colleges in NYC and NJ such as The College of New Rochelle, New York, Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York, Berkeley College, New York and Mandl School of Allied Health, New York. I also taught at Bergen Community College, NJ and at Essex City College, NJ. I believe: 'No dream comes true, until you wake up and work hard.' If you are willing to work hard, I am there to guide you with my tutoring that will not only help you excel academically but develop an interest in what you learn.
I have been involved in teaching various courses, which are a part of the curriculum of the undergraduate students. I have taught the following papers: Introduction to Sociology, Principles of Sociology, Sociology of Family, Social Problems, World Cultures, Religious Experience, Global Social Change, Feminist Thought and, Urban and Industrial Sociology. As part of my teaching pedagogy, I usually take the role of facilitator rather than leader. This helps student relate to the subject under study.
I am well versed in using technology such as Blackboard, WebCT and Angel and have been using them consistently during my teaching. I have undergone training to teach online using Blackboard and have been successfully teaching online courses/onsite courses.
In addition to teaching, I have actively been involved in research. My book ‘Invincible Women’ encapsulates the trial and tribulations of women at the grass root level. My papers on ‘Socio-economic Factors in Trafficking of Women’ and ‘University as a Workplace: Sexual Harassment at the Workplace’ deal with socio-cultural causes behind violence against women.
Hope to reach out to you to enrich your education.
