I am from Bochum, Germany and have lived in San Diego for 15 years. I have previous experience tutoring both German and French languages. I have also worked extensively as an architecture instructor at the NewSchool of Architecture and Design (digital modeling, design studio, and theory of architecture) and Woodbury University School of Architecture (design communication).
I earned the abitur (international baccalaureate) at night school in Düsseldorf, Germany in 1984, and then enrolled at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany, studying art history and philosophy. In 1987, I switched to the architecture program at Fachhochschule Bochum and earned my diplom ingenieur in architektur in 1993 (graduate engineer in architecture). Since then, I have worked in numerous architectural firms in Bottrop, Germany, Chicago, Illinois, and San Diego, California, gaining extensive experience in a variety of residential, mixed-used, commercial, and institutional projects.
