I am native speaker of Spanish/Portuguese, and have been living in the USA for over 25 years and US citizen. I have upper lever courses in South America as well as in the USA. My graduated courses, in Education Cultural diversities and Technology/ teaching credential have been completed at National University. My undergraduate courses in Dance was completed at University of California, Irvine.
I have been teaching languages for about twenty five years around the world and exploring their cultures. I have many personal interest and activities that will relate to students around the world while teaching languages as well as other subjects courses.
I have been teaching multiple subjects in Spanish at a language Middle School in Laguna Beach, California. Teachers are from all different parts of the world, which help me to make friends from different background and relate well to their culture.
My current job is at a private High School for children of a very high level of commitment, capable of achieving the best GPAs. Currently, I am teaching foreign languages (French/Spanish), World history, American history, Cultural geography, Anatomy, Biology and Psychology.
I have also been substituting in Spanish classes at a local high school in San Clemente, Capistrano Unified School District.
I am a dancer, who explores dances from around the world. I have honors in teaching Artsbridge which teaches a subject, in a public school settings related to Arts.
My son has been enrolled at a local immersion program since Elementary school, and attending middle school higher level of Spanish. I have been blessed to have volunteered at his school for that many years enriching my experience in teaching.
Sessions will include manipulatives, technologies and different learning styles and activities. Students will be asked to not only to learn the written language but also speak it. I am energetic and enthusiastic about teaching and look forward to working with you.
