My name is Semarhy and I am originally from Puerto Rico. I moved to California 10 years ago to pursue graduate studies at UC Davis. I have a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Genetics with extensive knowledge in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. I am passionate about teaching and I work best in a one-to-one basis. I have experience working with middle school, high school, undergraduate and graduate students.
My experience includes teaching upper division Genetics at Sac State and working as a teaching assistant in multiple biology courses at UC Davis. I have taught multiple topics, including biological molecules, bioenergetics, cell structure and function, elements of molecular biology, metabolism and genetics.
