I am a results-driven, reliable, and creative tutor. I enjoy using technology to enhance tutoring sessions and can always find a new way to help a student grasp a concept.

I am qualified to tutor in ESL/EFL because I hold a CELTA from the University of Cambridge. I have taught either FT or PT since 2000. I love helping English language learners.

Elementary (K-6th)

I hold a master's degree in education from Sacramento State University.

I am currently going to Sac State for my k-8 credential.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology.

I also taught supplemental classes for youth aged 4-13 in English-LA.

Phonics

As a long time tutor for children, I have taught phonics and helped them learn to read in a way that makes sense and gives them skills to learn independently. I am also experienced in the Open Court textbooks.

Tennis

I have played tennis since aged 5. As a pre-teen I was a tournament player and I played on my high school tennis team. I enjoy sharing my love of sports with others, especially children.

Public Speaking

As a Life Coach and seminar preseneter, I have spoken to over 300 people at one time. I am an ongoing studnt of effective public speaking. I still remember things taught to me by my high school public spekaing teacher!
