Hi,
My name is Jennifer. I am a 30 year-old recent Masters Graduate from the CSUS School of Social work. I have a passion for working with children and their families who have received a spectrum diagnosis. I currently work for a local company as a Behavioral Consultant, helping to create individualized in home ABA programs for my clients. I have a total of 6 years experience working with individuals on the autistic spectrum with ages ranging from 2-17. Areas I commonly work on are social emotional development, activities of daily living, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, expressive language and receptive language. I have experience in working with all autistic functioning levels and can teach PECS or communicate through basic sign language.
I follow the guidelines of ABA as well as theory of mind when working with older and higher functioning clients.
I truly enjoy my work and I believe that it shows in my interactions with my clients.
